350005 America's Neighborhood Bats $12.95
(Merlin S. Tuttle)
America's Neighborhood Bats provides a wealth of helpful information
about bat
behavior and biology, a key to identification of the common species, range
maps, a
glossary, and sources for additional information. The writing is easy to
understand,
the color photographs are spectacular and the clear illustrations make this
a "go to"
book for anyone who is called upon to answer questions about bats, or to
solve
problems caused by bats. The book is for pest control operators, health and
wildlife officials, museums, zoos, nature centers, etc. Ten chapters and 96
pages.

Red Fox - The Catlike Canine
(J. David Henry) $17.95
This 174 page book is not a trapping manual. It is the work of a
researcher who
observed wild foxes the old fashioned way - by going out and following them
throughout all of the seasons. If you are curious about the intimate details
of fox
behavior, this book delivers. I find it useful because solving a nuisance
problem
depends on understanding what the fox is doing, when it is doing it. This
book is
a learning experience well worth the price.
350025 Mole Control $8.95
(Fred Lawrence)
A "how to" handbook for solving mole problems. Covers biology and behavior, food, range, tunnels and mounds, senses, daily activities, enemies, shooting, gases, poisons, repellents, exclusion, gimmicks and gadgets, flooding, concussion and trapping. Covers scissors and harpoon trapping methods (illustrated) as well as trap maintenance and antique mole traps. Bibliography included.
